My mom on Jaime/Brienne:
I was quite surprised he went back to her. I think he respects her warrior to warrior…but you know…if you remember…he’s had that head injury since Catelyn hit him on the head. Yes. He has a head injury. He’s been a different man.
My mom on Jaime’s memory:
See! I think there’s proof now that Jaime is suffering from a brain injury from last season. He couldn’t remember his own relatives! Who doesn’t remember their relatives?? That’s brain damage.
My mom on Jaime:
Jaime is starting to look very wimpy.
My mom on Jaime’s recent (and future) character development:
Oooo…I loved it when she took the rock and hit Jaime in the head with it. She whacked him real good. I think that’s why he changes—because he has a concussion. You know, he has brain damage now, so I think that’s why he changes. She just kept hitting him again and again and again. That’s gotta change the brain.

My mom on Tywin and Jaime’s relationship:
Then you meet Tyddium—their father. Jaime looks small. He is in the shadow of his father. He really is not loved. It’s actually quite sad. His father is just using him to an end. He’ll never live up to what his father wants. It’s like a Greek tragedy. He’s got an Oedipus complex or something.
My mom on the Lannisters’ political position in Westeros:
If the Lannisters are so great why didn’t they take the throne? Jaime killed the king, he could have just taken the throne for himself. Why didn’t he? He should have just sat on the throne.
My mom on Jaime’s character.
I do not like him. No.
I hope he gets killed off.
My mom on Cersei and Jaime’s future together as a couple:
She doesn’t want her brother to be king; she wants her son to be king. I think Cersei might kill her brother.
My mom revisits “The Things I Do For Love”:
Jaime is a coward. He threw a 10 year old out of a window? That’s a coward’s way of dealing with it. It’d be more knightly to stab a sword through the kid. He should have stabbed the Mad King from the front, but no. He’s a coward, so he stabbed him in the back. That’s what a real man would have done. Just stabbed a sword through the kid. Get it over with.

My mom on Jaime and Cersei’s incestuous relationship:
Oh! They are twins? That makes a lot of sense. Because, you know, twins are drawn together. They have a connection. Yeah, I was going to ask you if they were twins. Because twins would be more likely to do that stuff. That makes sense now.
